Scholz, Ph.D., with an academic background in Economics, Philosophy, and Energy and Resources, is Executive Vice President of Ecotrust, a groundbreaking organization based in Portland, Oregon committed to creating wellbeing for people and place. While overseeing daily operations, Scholz is also leading development of a strategic framework for expanding Ecotrust’s international profile. Scholz is an affiliate faculty member at Oregon State University, and co-editor of a book on integrated marine geographic information systems, Place Matters. She also serves on the boards of Habitat Media, Comunidad y Biodiversidad (Mexico), and the Living Oceans Society (Canada). ecotrust.org
